Wedding Coordinator

Weddings of Hawaii is a family-run destination wedding company based in Waikiki. We are looking for another Wedding Coordinator to join our team!

Job Description:

Standard Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Answer and return a high volume of phone calls.
Respond to online and email inquiries for current and prospective clients.
Process reservations, input details into wedding files, book vendors, and monitor payment for weddings.
Go above and beyond for each client to ensure their wedding experience is amazing.
Occasionally work on-site at a wedding as needed.
Be flexible in your schedule to ensure the office is staffed.
Keep the workspace clean and tidy on a daily basis.

Required Qualifications:

Exceptional customer service skills in all modes of communication
Skilled at verbal and nonverbal communication with customers and coworkers
Maintain professionalism and appropriate enthusiasm in all interactions
Has strong time management and able to prioritize tasks
Detail-oriented and a fast learner
Able to work as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and takes initiative
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Emotional intelligence and stress-management
Have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
High school or equivalent, college degree preferred
Previous work experience in Customer Service, Sales, Hospitality, or Event Planning or ability to demonstrate equivalent skillset

Preferred Skills and Abilities

Experience with using Quickbooks, Google Calendar, Google Mail, and Aircall
