Company Description Emani’s Events is a small, full-service wedding and event company specializing in planning, photography, videography, DJ/MC services, photo booths, and décor. The team focuses on creating personalized, memorable celebrations for couples and clients with diverse styles and needs. Team members collaborate closely to deliver seamless, well-coordinated events from first consultation through the final send-off. Typical tasks include confirming vendor arrivals, coordinating décor setup and breakdown, cueing the wedding party and MC/DJ, managing the schedule, and addressing any unexpected issues quickly and calmly. Experience in wedding or event coordination, including timeline management, vendor communication, and on-site execution.Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple details, priorities, and last-minute changes.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients, guests, vendors, and team members in a professional, inclusive manner.Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, calm demeanor under pressure, and sound judgment during live events.Customer service mindset, with a focus on creating welcoming, affirming experiences for all couples, including LGBTQ clients.Ability to work long shifts on event days, stand for extended periods, and assist with light setup and breakdown tasks.Reliable transportation to venues in and around Houston, TX, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Previous experience in hospitality, events, or related fields; familiarity with photography, videography, DJ/MC, or décor services is a plus.
