We're launching a boutique luxury wedding planning company dedicated to creating unforgettable weddings, destination celebrations, and exceptional client experiences through elevated service, thoughtful design, and flawless execution.
We're looking for an experienced, creative, and highly organized Wedding Planner & Event Coordinator who is passionate about both the creative and business side of weddings.
This is more than a traditional wedding planning position. You'll work closely with couples to design extraordinary celebrations while building relationships with premier venues and vendors throughout the industry. We're looking for someone who understands the luxury wedding market, enjoys collaborating with clients, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional planning experience from the first consultation through the final send-off.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of wedding industry pricing, budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiation. You'll confidently guide clients through planning decisions, negotiate exceptional value, and help create unforgettable weddings without compromising quality.
As we expand, you'll also have opportunities to plan destination weddings, with the potential to become the Resident Wedding Planner for a beachfront resort and wedding venue in South Carolina.
What You'll Do
Guide couples through every stage of the planning process from consultation through wedding day.
Design personalized luxury weddings that reflect each couple's vision and priorities.
Develop realistic budgets and provide expert guidance throughout the planning process.
Coordinate venues, florists, photographers, caterers, entertainment, rentals, hotels, transportation, and other event partners.
Negotiate vendor pricing, contracts, upgrades, and value-added services while maintaining strong professional relationships.
Build and maintain relationships with premier venues and trusted vendors.
Research and recommend vendors that best align with each client's style, vision, and investment.
Coordinate destination weddings, travel logistics, and guest accommodations when applicable.
Lead rehearsals and oversee flawless wedding-day execution.
Manage multiple weddings simultaneously while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
Deliver a luxury client experience that exceeds expectations.
What We're Looking For
Professional wedding planning or event planning experience.
Strong knowledge of wedding industry pricing, vendor services, event logistics, and budgeting.
Confidence creating wedding budgets and helping clients make informed planning decisions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional organization with the ability to manage multiple weddings simultaneously.
Calm, resourceful, and solution-oriented under pressure.
Available for evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.
Passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Luxury wedding planning experience.
Destination wedding or resort wedding experience.
Hotel, hospitality, or event design background.
Existing relationships with Dallas-area wedding vendors.
Experience with HoneyBook, Aisle Planner, Timeline Genius, or similar planning software.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
