Assistant Director for Events, Operations, and Administration

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Athletics and the Associate Director of Athletics for Events and Operations, the Assistant Director for Events, Operations and Administration provides comprehensive administrative support to the Division I Athletics Department while assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of athletic events and operational functions. This full- time position supports athletics administrators and departmental operations through office management, compliance-related support, and oversight of athletic events and facilities operations. 15% - Facilities & Operations Support Manage the implementation of NCAA compliance documentation, forms, and Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution At least 2 years working in an intercollegiate athletics department Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in athletic event management or facilities operations Familiarity with NCAA Division I rules, compliance, and event operations Experience with athletics management systems (e.g., Teamworks, ARMS) Work Schedule & Environment Full-time position in a fast-paced Division I athletics environment Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during competitive seasons
