The Coordinator for Event Services is essential in upholding the university's standards for event quality and safety, thereby supporting the University’s mission to foster a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant campus culture. • Ability to work days evenings weekends and some holidays • Ability to assemble and break down tables and chairs as per floorplans • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Significant professional experience in theatre or technical production • Supervision of undergraduate and graduate student staff or equivalent supervisory experience • Strong knowledge of event logistics including staging crowd management threat assessment and staffing needs • Technical expertise required in live production including theatrical lighting audio rigging networking system and Crestron and Extron system setups • Excellent project management time management organizational and multitasking skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and ability to learn additional programs including BANNER and 25LIVE scheduling software
