About the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council (PFPC) The Pittsburgh Food Policy Council works to build a food system that benefits our communities, economy, and environment in ways that are just, equitable, and sustainable. The Regional Food Systems Summit is PFPC’s signature annual convening, bringing together 100 - 150 stakeholders from across the food system, growers, community leaders, nonprofits, government partners, advocates, funders, and residents. The Event Planner will collaborate with PFPC staff and the Summit Planning Committee to execute high-level planning, coordination, and event production.
