Event Coordinator-Banquets

Position Summary Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and execute banquet events including weddings, corporate meetings, social gatherings, and special functions • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from booking through event completion • Conduct site tours and assist with menu selections in collaboration with the Food & Beverage team • Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) detailing event timelines, room setups, AV needs, and catering requirements • Collaborate with culinary, banquet, front office, and housekeeping teams to ensure flawless execution • Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring compliance with brand standards and client specifications • Manage vendor relationships including florists, décor providers, entertainment, rental companies, and AV teams • Monitor event budgets, deposits, billing, and final invoicing • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations • Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally • Conduct post-event evaluations to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in event coordination, banquet management, or hotel catering • Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations and banquet service standards • Experience with menu planning and upselling catering packages • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Strong communication and negotiation abilities • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.00 per hour
