Private Event Assistant Coordinator

Responsibilities:

The coordination of a portfolio of events from contract stage to event completionPreparing all relevant event documentation including floor plans, timelines, menu tasting and banqueting event ordersConducting site visits/tours for potential clients in a professional and helpful mannerMaintaining effective communication with clients to create accurate and complete banqueting event orders and ensuring the banqueting team delivers the event per the client’s requestPreparing weekly event sheets on time for the Head Chef and kitchen staff with completed menus and relevant informationCoordinating activities on the day and during the event to ensure the smooth running of the eventManaging the entire banquet staff during an event in a supportive and decisive mannerCredentials:

Exceptional Organizational skillsProfessional and efficient communication skillsThe ability to work decisively and calmly under high pressure situationsKnowledge and/or experience using Google Drive, Google Docs and Google SpreadsheetsBase Level experience and/or knowledge of using Excel SpreadsheetsWeekend availability and nighttime availabilityStrong leadership and management skills in a customer service environmentPassion and enthusiasm for private events and wedding planningStrong attention to detail and mindfulness of visual aestheticsHigh grooming standardsAbility to lift and move heavy objects carefully throughout the venue
