The Chamber is also responsible for a Foundation that offers a leadership program (LMV), educational scholarships, support for local emerging artists, and the Mountain View Visitor Center. Overview of Position: The Events and Marketing Manager will be in charge of producing, marketing and executing a diverse array of events, programs and materials that drive traffic to local businesses; provide revenue opportunities for the Chamber and its members; increase the positive reputation of the Chamber, City, and region; and generate joy and engagement for the local community. For awards presentations, manage nomination and selection processes.Strong collaboration - both strategically and operationally - with diverse stakeholders, including but not limited to, City departments, chamber members, merchants, vendors, suppliers, volunteers and attendees.Successfully execute 6 annual signature events for the Chamber, as well as a handful of smaller events such as mixers. Design and produce printed and online materials, including flyers, event collateral, and advertisingPost regularly on various social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook); Assist in the development and support of social media and marketing campaigns that raise the visibility of the Chamber, create buzz and enhance member engagement. Day to day operational duties as required for a small organizationOversight and proper categorization of expensesGeneral member support, including greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing as appropriateWith CEO, provide yearly Visitor Center report to the City
