Hope Lutheran Church is seeking a Part-Time Event Planner & Sunday Ministry Coordinator to support Sunday worship services and church-wide events. This position blends event planning, administrative assistant responsibilities, volunteer training, and Sunday morning leadership in a ministry-focused environment Be on-site and ready to serve by 7:30 AM every SundayCoordinate Sunday service logistics and room setupSupport pastors, staff, and ministry leadersEnsure volunteers are scheduled, trained, and preparedTroubleshoot last-minute changes calmly and efficientlyHelp create a welcoming and organized environment for guests and membersEvent Planning & Coordination Proven experience in event planning, event coordination, administrative assistance, or operations support (church or nonprofit experience is a plus)Strong organizational and time-management skillsHigh attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to multitask and prioritize effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working with volunteers and diverse age groupsReliable transportation and punctualityPersonal Attributes for Success Sunday services and church events are often the first impression people have of the church.
