Event Planning Manager (Part-Time Taskforce)

The Event Planning Manager is the on-site contact and is responsible for the smooth planning and subsequent execution of all conferences, incentive programs, meetings and other group and event business as assigned. The Event Planning Manager also hosts hotel tours and event tastings, maintains strong internal and external customer relationships, participates in and may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and works as an engaged team member with the sales, event and hotel staff. This is the Hyatt Touch. This is the pay range for this position that Park Hyatt Aviara reasonably expects to pay. Refined verbal and written communication skills A minimum of 2-4 years of hotel luxury event planning or comparable experience preferred Must be proficient in general computer knowledge Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, adaptable to change, organized and able to handle luxury event planning a fast-paced environment Prefer event planning, selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training Preferred candidate is a certified Together by Hyatt Specialist or has similar knowledge
