Event Production Manager

Position: Live Event Production Manager Bring Unforgettable Corporate Events to Life.Mills James is hiring an experienced Event Production Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is perfect for professionals with a background in live event production, audiovisual management, and corporate meeting planning. You'll lead the planning, technical execution, and onsite management of in-person and virtual events for top corporate clients.Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of corporate event production from planning to execution.Collaborate with clients and staff producers to create detailed statements of work.Select and schedule the right AV equipment, crews, and virtual platforms (Teams, Web Ex, Zoom, Brand Live).Develop production timelines with clients, venues, and vendors.Oversee setup, operation, and teardown of AV systems including audio mixers, microphones, speakers, cameras, video switchers, projectors, stage lighting, and networking equipment.Supervise and schedule crews for live events, conferences, and hybrid meetings.Operate and support PowerPoint presentations, livestream platforms, and both Mac and Windows systems.Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively while maintaining a client first mindset.Manage multiple fastturn projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, or related field; or 4+ years of event production or AV management experience.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, One Drive, Word, Excel).Working knowledge of AV technology, networking, and livestream platforms.Ability to learn and use Media Pulse facilities management software.Valid driver's license; ability to obtain U.S. Passport and DOT medical card if required.Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.Strong organizational, problem solving, and client communication skills.Why Mills JamesMills James is a full-service production company of over 235 event and video professionals.
