The Event and Program Coordinator supports the planning and execution of events and community programs. Assist with planning and coordination of details for events from start to finish Help create timelines, checklists, and run-of-show documents Coordinate event logistics including vendors, rentals, and supplies Assist with permits, applications, and required documentation Support event setup, on-site coordination, and breakdown Help manage event day needs and troubleshoot minor issues Serve as a friendly point of contact for stakeholders, vendors, and participants Coordinate with team members on logistics and planning needs Assist with volunteer coordination and communication Support event promotion by providing information to marketing team 1–2 years of experience in events, hospitality, nonprofit work, or related field Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Detail-oriented with willingness to learn Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Proficiency in Social Media and Digital content creation Hands-on experience in event and program coordination Opportunity to work with community partners and vendors Professional development in planning, logistics, and operations Exposure to large-scale events and community programming
