Event Project Manager - Audio-Visual Production

Skills • 3 to 5 years of audio-visual project management experience in the event/hospitality industry • Creative and passionate about events • Knowledge of audio-visual production and equipment • Proficient in budget creation and understanding profit and loss statements • Advanced verbal and written communication skills • Previous management experience with innate leadership abilities • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Capacity to work in a high-energy, high-pressure environment • Flex Software Program proficiency or quick learning ability of new computer programs • Familiarity with general office equipment Responsibilities • Organize audio-visual production for high-profile corporate events • Meet with clients to determine needs and budget, design, and build quotes • Coordinate vendors and venues for event execution • Create floor plans and design stage sets • Conduct pre/post-conference meetings with clients and departments • Guide pre-planning and client deadlines for seamless execution • Collaborate with technical, warehouse, marketing, sales, and project management teams • Ensure adequate staffing for production events in collaboration with the Production Manager • Participate in design reviews with staff, clients, and consultants • Oversee load-on and load-out for events • Act as the liaison onsite for clients and technicians • Attend weekly meetings to provide status reports on events • Prepare and manage job costing for cost-effectiveness Experience Requirements • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in audio-visual project management in the event/hospitality industry
