Events Concierge

This includes meeting with group coordinators, analyzing banquet event orders, and... responding to any special requests or arrangements. Responsibilities: - Meet with group coordinators before events to introduce yourself and ensure that all arrangements are satisfactory - Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine proper setup, timeline, specific guest needs, and menu details - Respond promptly to special requests or arrangements for events and ensure that they are fulfilled - Follow up with group coordinators to confirm that all arrangements are compliant and meet their expectations - Adhere to company policies and safety procedures, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management - Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, respecting the confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets - Provide a warm welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs - Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language - Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members, supporting common goals - Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards - Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service preferred - Knowledge of banquet and event operations is a plus - Ability to read and understand event orders and documents in various formats - Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Ability to move and stand for extended periods of time, navigate narrow and uneven spaces, and lift and carry objects as necessary Education Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required Experience Requirements: - Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
