Job Title: Events CoordinatorLocation-Type: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid - Wednesday & Thursday Onsite)Hours: Part Time Hours (16-20hrs a week minimum)Start Date: ASAPDuration: Contract (6 Months with option to convert)W2 Pay Rate Range: $20/hr – $30/hrBenefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401KMust be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .

Job Description:Support the planning, coordination, and execution of executive-level and school-wide events while delivering a high-touch customer service experience to internal and external stakeholders.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Coordinate logistics for events including receptions, dinners, conferences, seminars, and multi-day programmingSupport attendee management, scheduling, room setup, communications, and vendor coordinationAssist with onsite event execution, troubleshooting, and stakeholder supportMaintain event documentation, timelines, and operational trackingManage data entry and logistics within Cvent and related administrative systemsCoordinate travel-related logistics and act as liaison with travel vendorsPartner with the Events Manager and stakeholders to improve operational workflows and event scalabilityProvide white-glove customer service to executive-level stakeholders and guestsSupport administrative tasks tied to event operations and communicationsRequirements:

Must-Have Skills/Experiences:2 years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, administrative support, customer service, or related environmentsExperience supporting events from planning through executionStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExperience coordinating logistics, scheduling, communications, or operational supportExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service and stakeholder management experienceComfortable supporting executive-level stakeholders and VIP guestsAbility to adapt quickly in fast-paced environmentsAbility to travel between Washington, DC and Baltimore for major eventsFamiliarity with Cvent or similar event management systems preferredNice-to-Have Skills/Experiences (NOT required, but a plus!) :Experience supporting events in higher education, nonprofit, or professional services environmentsExperience with operational process improvement or event scalability initiativesBachelor's degree preferredPrior exposure to executive-level events, leadership seminars, or conferences
