The Meet Group Coordinator/Host(ess) is responsible for ensuring smooth coordination and execution of banquet functions. This includes meeting with group coordinators or hosts prior to events to make introductions and confirm arrangements, articulating guest needs from banquet event orders, and responding to any special requests related to setup, timelines, catering elements such as buffets and action stations. The role demands a proactive follow-up on these arrangements to ensure that all compliances are met to the highest standards expected at The Ritz-Carlton.
The Meet Group Coordinator/Host(ess) must adhere to all company, safety, and security protocols, promptly reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete all mandated safety training and certifications.
