Help Launch a New Executive Forum on AI, Leadership, and Transformation

Piercing Strategies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events & Marketing Intern to help support the launch and execution of our inaugural Human First™ AI Adoption Forum, taking place in September 2026.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience planning and marketing an executive-level event while working directly with a leadership development and transformation consulting firm.

Responsibilities

Event Planning & Coordination
Support venue coordination and logistics
Manage attendee communications
Assist with speaker coordination
Track registrations and attendance
Support day-of event execution

Event Marketing

Assist with social media promotion
Support email campaigns
Coordinate marketing assets
Help manage registration platforms
Work with strategic partners to promote the event

Administrative Support

Maintain project plans and timelines
Track action items
Prepare event materials
Support weekly planning meetings

Ideal Candidate

Based in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written communication
Experience with Canva, LinkedIn, or Eventbrite preferred
Comfortable working independently
Interest in leadership, business, marketing, or event management

Details

Paid internship
10–12 hours per week
10–12 week project
Hybrid/remote with occasional in-person meetings in the DMV area
