The Caviar Butler is a luxury caviar experience company creating interactive caviar service for private celebrations, weddings, corporate events, brand activations and VIP experiences.

Established across the UK and Europe, we have worked with leading global brands and prestigious clients including adidas, ASOS, Hugo Boss, KIKO Milano and Chelsea Football Club, alongside luxury weddings, private celebrations and exclusive corporate events.

We are now expanding into Los Angeles and California and are looking for an exceptional Freelance Event Manager / LA Event Lead to become a trusted part of our local operation.

This role is ideal for an experienced freelance event professional who already works independently across events, hospitality, weddings, experiential activations or private clients and is looking to add an exciting luxury brand to their portfolio.

Initially, events may be occasional and event-based. As our California presence grows, there is genuine potential for the right person to take on more responsibility and eventually develop into a broader West Coast Manager role.

The Role

You will act as our trusted local event lead in Los Angeles and will be responsible for helping us deliver The Caviar Butler experience when our UK team is not physically present.

Responsibilities may include:

Managing individual Los Angeles events from preparation through to completion
Receiving and reviewing event briefs
Coordinating and briefing approved Caviar Butlers / event servers
Arriving ahead of the service team and overseeing event setup
Liaising professionally with clients, venues, event planners and other suppliers
Ensuring caviar, accompaniments and equipment are prepared correctly
Managing service timings throughout the event
Maintaining The Caviar Butler's luxury presentation and service standards
Troubleshooting operational issues during events
Completing event close-down and checking equipment
Providing post-event feedback, photos and stock/equipment updates
Supporting us with local event logistics as our LA operation develops

Local Event Kit Responsibility

As our trusted Los Angeles Event Lead, the successful person may also be responsible for safely holding and managing a dedicated The Caviar Butler LA event kit between events.

This may include:

Storing our reusable event equipment securely
Checking the kit before and after each event
Keeping an accurate overview of equipment and supplies
Reporting any missing, damaged or replacement items
Ensuring the kit is ready for upcoming confirmed events

All equipment remains the property of The Caviar Butler and is provided solely for approved company events.

Because of this responsibility, we are looking for someone exceptionally reliable, organised and trustworthy.

Who We're Looking For

We are ideally looking for someone who is already an established freelance event professional and works with multiple clients or companies.

You should be:

Highly reliable, punctual and organised
Confident managing people and taking responsibility
Professional and polished with luxury clients
Calm and solution-focused under pressure
Detail-oriented
Comfortable managing events independently
Comfortable coordinating freelance event staff
Based in or around Los Angeles
Available for evening and weekend events when mutually agreed
Comfortable taking responsibility for event equipment
Interested in growing with an international luxury brand

Previous experience in any of the following is strongly preferred:

Luxury events
Event production
Weddings
Experiential events
Hospitality
Catering
Private events
Fashion or beauty events
Corporate events
VIP hospitality

Experience with caviar is not required. Full training on our products, service style and brand standards will be provided.

Freelance Structure

This is an event-based freelance opportunity.

Events will be offered according to availability, and you will be free to confirm whether you are available for each individual booking.

Initially, the frequency may be approximately one or several events per month, depending on bookings, with the opportunity for this to increase as our US operation grows.

We particularly welcome applicants who already operate independently in the events industry and work with other clients alongside this role.

Compensation & Commission

$35–$40 per hour, depending on experience and the responsibility required for each event.

In addition to event pay, we offer a referral commission for new clients or events you personally introduce to The Caviar Butler that result in confirmed paid bookings.
