Leigh & Co. Events is an exciting and rapidly growing wedding planning company that provides amazing wedding design, coordination, and planning services for couples across the United States. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated planners to join our team as Lead Wedding Coordinators. This is a unique contract role where you can set your own schedule! Training is provided, and you'll earn $350 for a project's total of 10-12 hours of work, paid per project. We're looking for individuals to join us for the 2026 wedding season and beyond.
As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talents and provide unparalleled services to engaged couples. Your role will primarily involve onsite planning, working collaboratively with our client experience managers and assistant coordinators to deliver unforgettable weddings. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting a comprehensive final details call with clients around 6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timelines, and expectationsLeading the ceremony rehearsal on the day before the wedding, ensuring all participants are prepared and briefedServing as the primary advocate for the couple onsite, maintaining a calm and focused approach while addressing any challengesOverseeing the setup of the ceremony and reception according to the event design and day-of execution planManaging the entire wedding day from vendor arrivals to final breakdown at the end of the eveningGreeting, directing, and acting as the main point of contact for all vendorsCommunicating setup instructions clearly to vendors for precise execution of the event planCoordinating and assisting with the placement of personal and event details, including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest book, and décor elementsProviding support to the wedding party and family members with guidance, timing cues, and any day-of assistanceEnsuring all end-of-event items (gifts, guest book, personal décor, etc.) are packed and accounted for properlyProactively managing and resolving any issues or last-minute changes to ensure a seamless guest experienceRequirements:
Availability to work weekends is essentialMinimum of 2 years of experience as a wedding planner or event plannerStrong communication skills and attention to detailReliable transportation is a mustAbility to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
