Overview Job Purpose Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking an experienced and strategic Event Manager to join our marketing team. Event strategy and executionLead end-to-end planning and execution of in-person conferences, executive forums, and proprietary ICE events, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, catering, A/V, and on-site productionDevelop and manage detailed event timelines, run-of-show documents, and production schedules, ensuring seamless delivery across all workstreamsServe as the on-site lead for events, managing vendors, and real-time problem resolutionOwn the planning and technical execution of virtual and hybrid events, including platform strategy, speaker management, and attendee experienceVendor and budget managementBuild and manage relationships with external vendors, venues, and production partnersOwn event budgets end-to-end, including forecasting, expense tracking, reconciliation, and purchase order processingMaintain accurate vendor records, contracts, and post-event documentationOversee promotional item strategy, including branded merchandise sourcing, inventory management, fulfillment coordination, and post-event reconciliationStakeholder and speaker managementPartner with senior internal stakeholders to align event goals, messaging, and programming with broader marketing and business objectivesManage event registration platforms and attendee communications, ensuring a high-quality experience from invitation through post-event follow-upLead speaker and VIP logistics, including travel, accommodations, briefing materials, and on-site coordinationAct as a primary point of escalation for attendee and stakeholder inquiries before and during eventsReporting and continuous improvementDeliver comprehensive post-event analysis, including attendance data, stakeholder feedback, and actionable recommendationsMaintain and evolve internal event calendars, project trackers, and shared documentationHelp drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and leading the development of scalable best practices and playbooks across the events function Knowledge And Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field5+ years of experience in corporate event management, with demonstrated ownership of large-scale or high-visibility programsProven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projects from strategy through executionStrong budget and vendor management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends as events require
