Seasonal Floral Designer Assistant

1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. is looking for a Seasonal Floral Designer for their Philadelphia MDC.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Help maintain plants and dish gardens.
* Keep cooler clean and organized.
* Handle and process flowers as delivered to the facility.
* Fulfill Floral design recipes as ordered.
* Meet all company productivity and quality standards.
* Assist in other areas as necessary.

**Qualifications**

* High School diploma or equivalent
* 3-5 years of floral designer experience.
* Bi-lingual, a plus.
* Design experience is a must.
* Must have good attention to detail.
* Knowledge of design principles and techniques, as well as current trends in floral design.
* Ability to work extra hours and weekends as necessary.
* Ability to lift up to 25lbs, stand for long periods, and traverse stairs throughout the day and work in an overall physically demanding manner.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*The expected salary range for this position is **$17.00 hourly**. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.*
