Senior Event Planner, Global Events & Activations

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. This is a highly collaborative role requiring equal strengths in marketing judgement, creative development and production leadership. Lead assigned activation initiatives for global marketing campaigns, many with a U.S. focus, from briefing through delivery and evaluation, translating marketing objectives into clear and actionable plans.Partner with Games Marketing, Brand and Hardware Marketing, Studios, Partnerships, Sponsorships, PR, Social, Influencer and Territory Marketing teams to define the role of events within broader go-to-market plans and identify opportunities for creators, content and earned media.Develop events briefs and guide agencies from concept through programming, production and live delivery, balancing creative ambition with budget, timeline and operational feasibility.Manage agencies, suppliers, budgets, statements of work, schedules and technical or onsite operations to deliver high-quality experiences. Approximately 8+ years of relevant experience in experiential marketing, events or production within gaming, entertainment, media or technology.Proven experience leading global experiential campaigns from strategy and creative development through production, rollout and evaluation.Strong integrated marketing, stakeholder and agency management skills, including the ability to influence senior partners and build trusted relationships.Commercial awareness and production expertise, including budgets, suppliers, governance, risk assessments and Health & Safety requirements.Ability to balance strategic thinking and creative ambition with operational feasibility, timelines and business priorities.Clear, confident communicator who is equally comfortable presenting to senior leadership as well as supporting onsite delivery. This role also may be eligible for a bonus package.
