Special Events and Entertainment Coordinator

The incumbent will also develop, coordinate, and provide technical direction, guidance and assessments of Navy MWR special events and entertainment programs in alignment with applicable instructions and policies as related to entertainment standards and policies in MWR facilities. In order to qualify for this position, resumes must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the position. Programming duties include but are not limited to: • Coordinates, monitors, and performs site visits to evaluate the compliance with DoD and Navy regulations and to make assessments of the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of programs delivered. A qualified candidate must possess the following: • 4 or more years of specialized experience with Navy or other Military Branch Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) special events and entertainment programs. • Skill in and ability to apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative indicators for assessing special events and entertainment programs.
