The Position The Coordinator, Events (temporary) supports all OHS events in Portland and Salem, including our peer-to-peer fundraisers and fun-runs; fundraising galas; donor stewardship events; recognition and awards events; our Puppy & Kitten Visits; and other events that support the strategic priorities of the organization. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with a diverse population in a consistently educational, positive, and professional manner. • Able to work independently with a high level of accountability. • Work is performed in an office and medical center/animal shelter environment as well as at various off-site locations such as vendor and event venues. • Animal contact and related injuries may occur.
