Position Overview The Venue Manager & Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for guiding each event from the first inquiry through the final cleanup after the event concludes.

This person serves as the primary point of contact for many of our couples and clients, ensuring every event is organized, professionally executed, and reflects the high standards of The Club at Garden Ridge.

This position combines hospitality, event management, operations, customer service, and sales into one rewarding role.

Primary Responsibilities
Event Sales & Client Experience

Conduct venue tours for prospective clients.
Build genuine relationships with couples and event hosts.
Follow up on leads promptly and professionally.
Help clients envision their event while confidently communicating pricing and venue offerings.
Assist in closing bookings without high-pressure sales tactics.
Maintain consistent communication from booking through the event date.

Event Planning & Coordination

Manage event timelines from contract signing through event completion.
Coordinate planning meetings with clients.
Maintain contracts, payments, and event documentation.
Ensure every event has all required details organized and communicated.
Coordinate with vendors, DJs, caterers, florists, photographers, and other event professionals.

Venue Operations

Prepare the venue before each event.
Ensure all spaces are clean, organized, and event-ready.
Complete opening and closing procedures.
Oversee event setup and breakdown.
Monitor venue appearance and presentation throughout events.
Help identify maintenance needs before they become problems.

Event Management

Be present during events as needed.
Solve problems calmly and professionally.
Anticipate client needs before they arise.
Lead vendors and staff with confidence and kindness.
Ensure events stay on schedule while maintaining a relaxed guest experience.
