Assistant Director, Event Productions

The Assistant Director, Event Productions within Student Unions will be responsible for ensuring all audio-visual needs of clients are met. This position will report to the Director of Student Unions and will supervise 3 full-time Audio-Visual Technicians, student managers and student employees This individual will meet with clients to discuss and determine technical needs for events as well as oversee proper delivery and operation of these items. Must have extensive knowledge on a wide range of technical (audio/visual) equipment such as projectors, sound systems, lighting and be proficient in live audio mixing. Routinely is responsible for overseeing and schedule the staff that will cover setup and operations of technical equipment used for events. Ensures that equipment (audio, video, lighting) is working properly and to the satisfaction of the client for the duration of assigned events.
