Event Assistant - Part-time

We produce some of the largest festivals and live events in the region, in addition to numerous private, corporate, and community events. Our Creative Department provides exceptional expertise in festival production, event planning, brand activations, and fine art installation./ppWe are seeking Event Operations Assistants to work with us throughout the year. If you enjoy work in which every day is different, this could be a great fit for you!/ppJob Responsibilities and Requirements:/pulliUnderstanding or interest in event production and/or artistic production/liliWillingness to work in a flexible schedule that may include long hours and irregular times, including weekends, nights, amp; holidays/liliAbility to receive, understand, and follow instructions amp; directions from a supervisor/liliAbility to follow directions and ask clarifying questions/liliEagerness to learn amp; willingness to be trained in existing systems or policies/liliMaturity amp; understanding of an artistic process and the ability to work closely with clients in a diplomatic amp; professional manner/liliReliable transportation to event sites throughout the area/liliValid driver's license with a clean driving record/liliMust be at least 18-years old on the date of hire./liliAbility to lift, push, and/or carry up to fifty (50) pounds./liliMust#160;be#160;authorized#160;to#160;work#160;in the#160;United States/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliPrevious experience in theater, events, concerts, or other production environments./liliKnowledge of best practices in packing technical equipment into box trucks./liliKnowledge of different kinds of event production equipment/liliTechnical skills such as carpentry, lighting, sound, rigging, or AV experience/liliThe ability to drive a large vehicle such as a van or box truck is preferred/li/ulpemThis is an hourly,#160; non-exempt position that is scheduled as needed.
