The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) is a respected and influential organization within the insurance industry. NAMIC currently offers an opportunity for an Event Planner & Marketing Specialist to join its Event, Education, and Association Services department. This full-time position plays a critical role in supporting the design, planning, and management of educational and networking events that align with NAMIC’s mission to empower its members with cutting-edge knowledge and professional growth opportunities. The Event Planner & Marketing Specialist will be responsible for comprehensive event coordination, including logistical arrangements, speaker research, budgeting, and promotional marketing, ensuring that every event runs smoothly and meets the high standards expected by NAMIC and its members. • College degree or equivalent experience in related business • Meeting planning experience is required • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management • Ability to pass criminal background and motor vehicle record check • Must be available for occasional overnight travel including by car and air • Professional demeanor reflective of organizational values • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to multitask and manage event details efficiently
