Event Specialist

The Event Specialist will support the Direct of Event Management in all aspects of event planning, including researching venues, negotiating contracts, coordinating vendors, and managing budgets. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments. Essential Functions: • Assists Director of Event Management in planning for Government & Public Affairs, Small Business & Events, Corporate meetings, and other special events, including consulting with division leads to establish goals, services required, and fee schedules. • Performs a variety of administrative functions, including data management, and correspondence as well as reservation acceptance. • Assists all divisions within the Chamber with event coordination as needed.
