The Facility and Event Coordinator role will be responsible for facility coordination ensuring compliance to established business processes related to Corporate Real Estate and Facilities, assisting the Facility Manager and the Head of Corporate Real Estate with the delivery of quality facility management services for Airbus Experience Center located in Washington D.C. Completion of daily walkthroughs of the facility including the “Experience Center “area to proactively identity maintenance needs, potential safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.Assistance with the initial troubleshooting of E C equipment such as interactive displays, computers, AV equipment etc.Schedule preventative maintenance with contracted vendors monthly/quarterly.Respond to emergency and urgent maintenance service calls.Escort and supervise suppliers while working on-site.Assist with furniture delivery, disposal and maintain organized storage spacesAssist with set-up and break-down of corporate events .Perform small maintenance tasks such a hanging photos and artwork, moving furniture, or repairing/modifying furniture.Perform daily facilities walk-through of Washington D.C. FacilityConduct monthly safety walk-throughs of Washington D.C. FacilityAssist with administrative projects.Establish a “Trusted Advisor” relationship with client counterparts and peers.Coordinate work and/or approvals between internal and external groupsAll other duties as directed by Director of Real Estate & Facilities, HO Health & Safety and site leadershipWork with Airbus employees and affiliates on editing, updating, and replacing Experience Center content.Requirements High School GraduateMinimum of 1 year industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultantEvent planning/management experience or facility management experience requiredStrong ability to listen and communicate effectively (verbal and written)Outstanding organizational and time management skillsStrong interpersonal skillsProficient using common business applications (Google G-Suite, Corrigo CMMS)Outstanding Internal and External customer service skillsMust be comfortable working with complex audiovisual equipmentDemonstrated client relationship management skillsPrioritize use of the facility based on business needs.Real time determination of facility use based on existing conditions of specific facility components.Real time troubleshooting of high-end audiovisual systems – a logic-based process.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Nice-to-haves
