OverviewJob PurposeIntercontinental Exchange (ICE) hosts and participates in conferences, webinars, and our own unique hosted forums that attract top corporate leaders from around the world. We are looking for a candidate to join our team as an event planner to assist with the events we host and participate in for our New York Stock Exchange business. This role will have a strong focus on hosted event creation and event management to deliver the most successful experience for all audiences and those involved, internally and externally. Attention to detail, ability to manage within a high demand environment with multiple deliverables, and a focus on execution and results are a must.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the management and execution of all logistical and operational aspects for digital and in-person events.Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, manage, and execute hosted events, sponsored events, and webinars across the company.Help negotiate and facilitate value for money contracts with event venues, hotels, caterers/restaurants, audio-visual vendors, etc., in conjunction with procurement. Ensure maximization of value across all external events.Partner with Growth Marketing, Social, and Content Teams to repurpose content and help extend the life of events.Understand cross-company business objectives to help establish and maintain a strong event marketing presence.In collaboration with the marketing team, manage and maintain event marketing budgets and closely manage expenses for listed company, proprietary, and partnered events.Partner and collaborate with business units and external parties through transparency and constant communication, as well as timely responses to all inquiries and requests.Identify and communicate areas for improvement including process and cost efficiencies and strategic alignment across departments.Knowledge And ExperienceBachelor’s degree5+ years of experience in corporate events managementPositive attitude and strong people personExperience in webinar managementExceptional analytic, project management, and organizational skills; the ability to juggle multiple demands, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and approach based on specific audiencesDemonstrated success with developing positive relationships with clients, other third parties, and internal partnersExperience with content creation and agenda development preferredAbility to work in a highly collaborative environment and as part of a cross-disciplinary teamDemonstrated problem-solving ability and negotiation skillsExperience using ON24, Zoom, Eloqua, Salesforce, Monday.com, and other marketing tools a plusScheduleThis role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.New York Base Salary RangeThe expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 87,600 - 123,600 USD.
