Senior Event Planner Job at Epiq in Philadelphia

Essential Job Responsibilities Manage all aspects of event planning while staying on budget and meet strict guidelines Build and nurture relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry contacts while implementing the creative and logistical aspects of all events Work with internal staff, clients, and vendors to coordinate and establish the requirements for an event Liaise with senior executives and industry leaders throughout the planning process Coordinate visit sites and lead pre-event meetings to help event coordinators make decisions about event design Plan and facilitate logistics for all events, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, and decor Oversee client experiences from conception through post-event review; manage on-site preparations, production, and event breakdown; and ensure consistent, high-level service throughout all phases Build and maintain a comprehensive database of industry contacts, vendors, and venues Provide day of assistance and management for all in-person and virtual events Manage virtual events/webinars from end-to-end (i.e. stakeholder-intake, tech runs, event follow up) Qualifications & Requirements 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm environment Technically adept Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple aspects of an event Maintain confidential information Ability to excel under pressure and provide quality work product Clearly and effectively communicate with varying levels of people within the organization Work productively and cooperatively with other employees Lead a team of event coordinators through mentorship and support Ability to lift or move 40 lbs.
