This includes the staffing of all catered events. The primary goal of the position is to ensure all events run smoothly. • Hire, train, and manage event staff for both B.Lin Catering & DC Taste brands • Work events as Catering Captain or Bar Manager, as needed • Oversee and ensure event staff is professional and adheres to training guidance at catered events • Create and print labels and signage for events • Create Event Books • Create Event Details summary sheet • Organize Event Books and ensure accurate receipt of completed books • Assist in creation of contractor guidance. • Oversee the hiring and onboarding of all 1099 contractors • Assist in submitting payroll information for 1099 contractors & delivery drivers, if needed • Liaise with Event Operations and Kitchen Team to coordinate successful events • Create FOH Packlists for all full-service events • Oversee training classes Experience: • Events management: 1 year (Preferred)
