Event Coordinator | Community Engagement & Brand Activation Independent Contractor (1099) 📍 DC Metro Area Only (Maryland, Washington, DC & Northern Virginia) Keneathia Glenn Real Estate, affiliated with Douglas Elliman Real Estate, is seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven Event Coordinator to support community events, networking activations, client appreciation experiences, open houses, and brand visibility initiatives throughout the DC Metro Area. Expected commitment is approximately 5–15 hours per week depending on event schedules, activations, and seasonality. Responsibilities Event Planning & Coordination • Coordinate networking events, community activations, open houses, client appreciation events, and brand experiences • Manage event timelines, planning documents, and logistics • Coordinate vendors, venues, caterers, photographers, and event partners • Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown Guest & Community Engagement • Manage RSVPs and attendee communications • Support registration and guest check-in • Build relationships with attendees, community leaders, referral partners, and vendors • Professionally represent the brand at events and community functions Lead Generation Support • Support event-generated lead tracking • Assist with relationship-building initiatives • Coordinate post-event follow-up activities • Maintain accurate event and contact records Administrative Support • Maintain event reports and documentation • Track deadlines and assignments • Follow all COO-approved SOPs and workflows Preferred Experience • Event Planning • Event Coordination • Hospitality • Community Outreach • Marketing • Brand Activations • Client Relations • Real Estate Support • Association, Chamber, or Nonprofit Events Ideal Candidate • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Professional, dependable, and resourceful • Comfortable engaging with professionals and community stakeholders • Strong follow-through and accountability • Able to thrive in fast-paced environments Compensation This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Compensation includes event-based pay and performance incentives. Lead Incentives Rental Lead: $100 • Buyer Lead: $200 • Seller Lead: $200 • Dual-Sided Transaction Lead: $300 In addition, qualified event-generated business may be eligible for referral commission incentives in accordance with company policies.
