Please send your resume to: hiring@personenyc.com Sales Manager responsibilities: * Work with production team in overall planning, direction, and coordination of catered events from start to finish, while keeping the customer needs and team operations in mind * Assess the market potential and develop new sales opportunities and leads from market segments including social, corporate, venues and event planners * Ensure all aspects of sales pipeline are completed in an efficient and effective manner * Follow up on all leads through phone calls, correspondence or personal visits * Schedule, organize, and conduct tastings for new business pitches * Network at industry event and build relationships with clients, vendors, and industry members * Hit weekly, monthly, and yearly target sales goals * Maintain existing client relationships and increasing revenues from current customers * Maintain proper system recording and manage event calendar, scheduling changes, and event details of all jobs in accordance to CRM and communicate information effectively to team members * Act as a responsible representative of the company and contact for clients * Maximize revenue while maintaining operational excellence and client satisfaction * Institute any procedural changes to create efficiencies and organization for catering requests Location: Both Brooklyn (Red Hook) and Manhattan (Bryant Park) Salary breakdown: Base: $65,000 to $80,000 \\+ Commission % based on terms discussed during interview process Gross profit is Event Revenue, less Defined Direct Expenditure (event labor, event rentals, event props & sales tax) Defined Direct Expenditure will not include food or drink costs.
